Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and hold parental responsibility, guardianship, or another legal caregiving relationship for any child you add to the Service. The Service is intended for use by adults managing co-parenting arrangements; it is not designed for direct use by children.

• You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information, including your relationship to any child you add.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, misuse the Service, or violate these Terms.

• By adding a child's profile, you confirm you have the legal right to make decisions about that child's data.
• Linking a co-parent to a shared child profile means that co-parent may view data you add about that child, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• If there is a legal dispute over parental access or custody, we may require documentation (e.g. a court order) before making changes to account access or child profile linking.
• We are not a party to, and do not mediate, custody or parenting disputes. The Service is a communication and record-keeping tool, not a legal authority.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse a co-parent or any other user
• Post false, misleading, or harmful information about a child or co-parent
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is abusive, obscene, or that could endanger a child's safety or privacy

We reserve the right to review reported content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section. Where we believe a child's safety may be at risk, we may be obliged to report this to relevant authorities.

• You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, notes, achievements).
• You grant us a licence to store, process, and display that content within the Service, solely to provide the Service to you and your linked co-parent.
• You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content (e.g. photos of your child).

luvdfamily is a paid subscription service. Subscription fees are £10 per month, billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable consumer law.

• You may close your account at any time via the in-app Settings or by emailing hello@luvdfamily.com.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
• On termination, data is handled per our Privacy Policy retention terms.

The Service is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it reliable and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. luvdfamily is a communication and organisational tool — it is not a substitute for legal advice, family mediation, or professional safeguarding services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LUVD Family is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including disputes between co-parents. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
